Community Center "People's Awakeners 1926".″ is based on 1 November 1926 year by Hristo Todorov Nakov. That's exactly why , that it was created on 1 November it is called "People's Awakeners”. The beginning was difficult because the community center as before, does not have its own building ( it is located in the town hall). His activity began with the presentation of various productions. The first appearance is the staging of the play “The earth thirsts” of Otto Legurski, which is dedicated to the work of the first engineers in Bulgaria and creators of the Saparevska vada Hadji Ivan and Petre Pug'ov.
Later, the plays "Wonderful Man" and "Anxiety" were staged”, “Evil mother-in-law” , "Unkind bastards”. It's interesting, that the local resident Spas Vukov's play "The man got drunk” with a plot from the life of the people at that time, not only aroused great interest, but also contributed to the fight against drunkenness. At that time there were an awful lot of pubs here – they were 11 in number, and at the same time a referendum was held across the country to close pubs. And here, as everywhere in the period between 1927 and 1944 year there was a certain stagnation in the work of the community center. Prez 1944 year the community center library was established, which now has 11 000 volumes of literature. It also stores some of Ivan Vazov's first books donated at the time by its creators.
The best times for the community center came after 1967 Mr. , when different compositions are created - a female folk group, vocal-instrumental group "Petroana”, children's group for authentic folklore. Prez 1980 The head of the Women's and Children's Group for Authentic Folklore is Lilia Djakovska , under whose leadership the groups reaped great success on the stages and won gold and silver medals at the Folklore Festivals. Photos of the groups appear in the newspaper "Musical Life”, "Folk culture” "Star” and many others. The children's folklore group became the Laureate of 6 the Republican festival for artistic self-activity and winner of 3 gold medals.
Following are recordings on Bulgarian National Radio. The children also make recordings for the show "Drumnik sweet talker".”.
Over the years, self-made people have participated in performances in the region and the country- demolished in Koprivshtitsa and Veliko Tarnovo, they win various awards and receive many certificates. The groups have released one disc with their performances. Currently, the Women's Folklore Group and the Children's Folklore Group continue to exist at the community center. The Community Center continues the traditions and does not fail to celebrate holidays such as Babin's Day, 1March - when Grandma Marta goes around and gives out martenits , Christmas with distribution of gifts to homes by Santa Claus. The Community Center participates in the organization and holding of the Community Meeting of the village.
